Robert Brannigan: The American Society for Reproductive Medicine welcomed a new president on Oct. 29, succeeding Elizabeth Ginsburg, who was the 2025 president. Brannigan’s clinical focus is male fertility, and he works as a professor and vice chair of clinical urology in the department of urology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Steven Corwin: After 14 years at the helm, Corwin is stepping down as NewYork-Presbyterian president and CEO, effective Jan. 22, 2026, per an Oct. 23 press release from the health system. He’ll be replaced by NewYork-Presbyterian EVP and COO Brian Donley.
Karen Hanlon: Pennsylvania-based payer-provider Highmark Health named Hanlon as president on Oct. 8, replacing David Holmberg, although Holmberg will remain CEO and board chairman and Hanlon will still report to him. She was previously EVP and COO and will keep the COO title alongside her new president status.
Tiffany Inglis: The former chief medical officer of Elevance Health has moved to the same role at Sera Prognostics, a pregnancy health diagnostics company, Sera announced Oct. 1.
Tomer Lancewicki: Florida-based specialty-specific health tech company ModMed announced Lancewicki as its new VP of AI and machine learning on Oct. 21. Before ModMed, he was director of AI and machine learning at Walmart Global Tech.

Ross Levine: On Oct. 16, the New York-based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center named Levine as its new chief scientific officer, replacing Joan Massagué, director of the Sloan Kettering Institute. Levine was previously SVP of translational research at Memorial Hospital, according to Memorial Sloan’s release.
Helge Lund: On Oct. 21, Novo Nordisk announced board chair Lund is resigning in November, alongside vice chair Henrik Poulsen and five independent board members. Elections for new members will happen Nov. 14. The drugmaker’s leading shareholder, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, tapped Novo’s former president and CEO Lars Rebien Sørensen to replace Lund. Sørensen is currently board chair of the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
Vani Manja: Pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim appointed Manja as the global head of obesity and liver health, a “newly established” therapeutic area for the company, she posted on LinkedIn. She’s an 11-year veteran of the company, most recently serving as country managing director and head of human pharma for the UK and Ireland.
JC Scott: Leading pharmacy benefit management lobbying group the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association announced Oct. 15 that Scott, its CEO and president, would step down by the end of 2025.
