Our rundown of Movers & Shakers for July 2023

Jillian Ahrens: Digital therapeutics company BehaVR named the former Pear Therapeutics associate director of product research and design its first chief product and design officer.

Julien Benchetrit: AI-powered clinical trial design startup QuantHealth welcomed the software leader its VP of engineering.

Nikia Bergan: Equip, a virtual evidence-based eating disorder treatment program, brought in the former GetWellNetwork president to be its own first president.

Neha Chaudhary: The double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist is now the first chief medical officer (CMO) for mental health platform Modern Health.

Evelyn Daniels: The former digital behavioral health company 2Morrow EVP of business development joined Laguna Health, an AI-powered contextual care management platform, as VP of business development.

David Dornstreich: QuantHealth named the life sciences veteran its chief commercial officer and US general manager.

Anthony Frank: Banner Health’s former SVP of finance took over as Westchester Medical Center Health (WMCHealth) Network’s EVP and CFO. WMCHealth President and CEO Michael Israel said Frank “will add tremendous value and vision with decades of tenure in the financial industry.”

Stuart Goldblatt: The former Cliantha Research North America president and CEO took over as CEO of CenExel, which provides medical and scientific support in the design and execution of clinical trials. Goldblatt said that under his leadership, “CenExel’s existing Centers of Excellence will continue to partner and forge even deeper relationships with biopharmaceutical, biotech, and CROs, thereby reducing drug development timelines and costs.”

Brent Layton: Technology-enabled rural healthcare provider Homeward appointed the Centene president and COO to its board of directors.

Omri Matalon: QuantHealth promoted its former director of clinical data science to VP of clinical data science. Matalon will lead customer success, clinical operations, and analytics.

Pam Oliver: Novant Health promoted its EVP and president of Novant Health Physician Network to EVP and CMO.

Josh Ratner: The WMCHealth executive was appointed CEO of HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, which includes HealthAlliance Hospital, Margaretville Hospital, and HealthAlliance Healthy Village. WMCHealth’s Michael Israel called Ratner “the ideal leader to drive our northern network of hospitals forward.” Ratner will also continue his work as EVP and chief strategy officer.

Christian Santiago: BehaVR named the former Pear Therapeutics senior director of product management head of clinical deployment strategy and operations.

Jonathan Simon: Hopper Health, a primary care platform for neurodivergent adults co-founded by Simon, named the former Brightline executive its first CTO.

Eric Wilson: OnePerfect, a mental health and wellness technology company, appointed the startup advisor as its fractional COO.
